My Story
As far back as I can remember, I've always loved books. Fantasy has always been my go to genre, with books like Lord of the Rings, Shannara, and The Traitor God to name just a few of my favorites. But it was actually Joseph Delaney's work, The Last Apprentice, that truly has influenced me as a writer.

All the fantasy books I read had one issue in common, everyone lived happily ever after. Though dangerous journeys, massive wars, and all manner of peril, almost all, if not all, of the characters would come out the other side unscathed. It just seemed so impractical to me, and thus I began writing my own work. It's not that everyone needs to die, or the bad guys need to win, I just wanted to see a little bit more balance.

So, inspired by the horror and monster filled books of Delaney, I began work on the Wik, creating my own monster hunters that would end up facing hell to keep people safe.
​
Of course, when I'm not writing, I enjoy living peacefully in the countryside with my wife, tending to my horses, and simply being in nature.
